Summer is a vibrant season of expansion, abundance, and full expression. It’s an ideal time for rituals that help us align with its radiant energy. As the sun reaches its peak and the days stretch long, nature hums with life and vitality. Summer rituals can celebrate this outward flow through movement, creativity, gathering, and gratitude, helping us stay rooted while embracing joy, passion, and purpose. By syncing with summer’s rhythm, we honor the fullness of the season, nurture what we’ve been growing, and bask in the warmth of connection—to ourselves, to others, and to the living Earth.
Begin with Gratitude: Sunrise Walk
Wake up with the sun and take a barefoot walk on the earth.
With each step, practice gratitude for your body, your breath, your life.
Let the golden light fill you with vitality.
Bonus points for making time for a lil wildlife spotting!
Make a Sun-Infused Herbal Tea
Choose summer herbs like lemon balm, mint, or chamomile.
Place them in a clear jar, fill with water, and let the sun steep your tea for at least a few hours.
Strain, add honey to taste, and sip with intention—allowing the abundance and energy of the season to bring you joy.
Bonfire Release Ritual
Gather in community around a fire (or a candle), write down what you’re ready to release, and let it burn.
Summer is about full expression—let go of anything dimming your light.
